Philly Police Searching for 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—City police are searching for a man they say robbed a 7-Eleven last weekend.
It happened around 3:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Delaware Avenue on Sunday.
Police say the suspect captured or surveillance video went behind the counter and demanded money from the 20-year-old employee.
Once the employee opened the cash register drawer, the suspect took an undetermined amount of money then fled the store and was last seen on Allen Street where he entered a Black four door sedan traveling south on Allen Street to Frankford Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black man, wearing a black and white scarf wrapped around his face, blue hooded sweatshirt with a red shirt underneath, blue jeans and white sneakers.
