Police: Man Arrested After Breaking Into Philly ATM

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--City police say they have arrested a man who was caught on surveillance video breaking into an ATM back in October.

It happened on October 8, 2016 in the 1500 block of Wadsworth Avenue.

Police say Donald Smack, 55, of Philadelphia, spent approximately one hour using various tools to break into the machine. He was able to gain access to the cash drawer and steal an unknown amount of money.

On November 17, 2016, Smack was arrested at his home and charged with theft and other related offenses.
