Investigation Underway After Police Car, Dirt Bike Collide In Wissinoming
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Chopper 3 was live over a crash on Monday afternoon, involving a police officer and a dirt bike in Northeast Philadelphia. The accident took place in the city's Wissinoming section.
The incident unfolded just before 5:00 p.m. on Torresdale Avenue near Howell Street.
Eyewitness News has learned that one person was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital for treatment. Initially, it was unclear if the officer was hurt, or if the person on the dirt bike was injured.
Police are investigating.
