Paralyzed State Trooper Surprises Girlfriend With Proposal Before Eagles-Giants Game
RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- A paralyzed State Trooper gave his girlfriend a surprise proposal at MetLife Stadium before the Eagles vs. Giants game on Sunday.
Only fellow New Jersey State Troopers knew what was up when retired Trooper Brian Malast popped the question from his wheelchair right on the football field.
His girlfriend said yes!
After the proposal, family, friends and fellow troopers took pictures and offered their congratulations to the happy couple.
Malast was injured back in 2005 in the line of duty.
