Rudy Giuliani Demands President Obama Pledge To Not Pardon Hillary Clinton

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Adviser to Donald Trump and Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani accused Hillary Clinton of accepting bribes for the Clinton Foundation during her time as Secretary of State and called on President Obama to announce publicly that he will not grant her a pardon.

Giuliani, during an interview with Rich Zeoli on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, claimed the Democratic nominee for President was operating an illegal operation while serving in the State Department.

"I think that the combination of the Clinton Foundation and the State Department and the way in which interacted with each other, meaning you had to pay money to the Clinton Foundation or speech money to Clinton and then you got favors from the State Department. You've got about 10, 12 instances of clear ones like that makes it not just a singular bribe but a, basically, someone described it, I think it was Podesta, as Clinton Inc. That's what RICO exists for. RICO exists to try criminal enterprises when they go beyond conspiracies, when they continue for some period of time and for the purpose of committing crimes."

He wants the President to openly pledge to not pardon Clinton for the crimes he and Donald Trump allege she is guilty or perpetrating.

"He should commit not to pardon her whether she is elected or not because he could pardon her before he leaves office. Even if she's not elected and Donald Trump's elected... But if he pardons, there's nothing you can do about it. Theoretically, that would even be worse in a way because if she's pardoned by Obama and elected, she could be impeached. You'd have a Republican House and I don't know, you might still have a Republican Senate. Things are getting so close. We might still have a Republican Senate. She could still be impeached. But, if she were not elected, he could pardon her and no matter what Donald Trump or his Attorney General wanted to do, they would be checkmated."

However, Giuliani doubts his demands will be met, dismissing the President's team in the White House as corrupt.

"It depends on how corrupt these people are. After all, they are from Chicago. I mean I know they just won the World Series, but they also had eight murders over the weekend in Chicago. The murder rate is only exceeded by their political corruption."
