Attorneys In Cosby's Sexual Assault Case Battle Over Evidence Issues

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA (CBS) -- Bill Cosby will be back in a Montgomery County courtroom again on Wednesday. Cosby and his attorneys spent the day arguing for pretrial motions related to charges he drugged and fondled a woman at his Cheltenham mansion back in 2004.

The defense argued a deposition Bill Cosby gave back in 2005 in a civil trial should be suppressed because of a promise they say then-DA Bruce Castor made.

Castor testified at a hearing earlier this year, claiming he made the promise never to prosecute Cosby on these allegations and to strip Cosby of his 5th amendment rights in the civil trial.

But prosecutors brought up what they call numerous inconsistencies in that testimony and in Castor's actions back then and over the past year and a half.

Other pre-trial issues to be addressed: Did the ten-year delay between the allegations and the charges violate Cosby's due-process rights and constitutional rights? Also, can prosecutors present 13 women at trial who claim similar assaults at the hands of Cosby?

Attorney Gloria Allred represents several of those women and is here in the courtroom.
