Woman Sentenced For Slashing Tires On City Owned Vehicles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The woman who confessed to slashing tires on vehicles parked outside the Philadelphia District Attorney's office has been sentenced for her crimes.

Forty-seven-year-old Stacey Cummings was sentenced to 12-months probation, and must enroll in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program or ARD. She must also complete an anger management course.

Cummings has already paid restitution of $845 for replacement tires.

Cummings is listed as the girlfriend of DA Seth Williams on financial statements for 2012 and 2014.

The incident happened last November outside of William's home. Cummings surrendered to police in August and was charged with criminal mischief and use of an instrument of crime.

Sentencing was held Wednesday in Philadelphia Municipal Court.
