There's A Petition To Replace Joe Buck With Bob Uecker For World Series Broadcasts
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Could you imagine Bob Uecker calling the World Series games on TV?
There is a change.org petition where over 17,000 people are in support of Uecker replacing Joe Buck on the television broadcast of the World Series.
Uecker, an 82-year-old retired baseball player and broadcaster, played Harry Doyle as a Cleveland Indians broadcaster in the popular movie Major League.
The Indians will face the Chicago Cubs in the World Series beginning on Tuesday. The Cubs haven't played in the series since 1945 and haven't won since 1908. The Indians haven't won since 1948.
