Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 7

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was a dominating performance by the Eagles' defense, an adequate performance by their offense, capped by an electrifying play on special teams.

Most importantly, the Eagles beat the Vikings 21-10 in Week 7, improving to 4-2.

Here are the studs and duds of the game.

Duds

3. Ryan Mathews

Ryan Mathews was actually the Eagles' most productive offensive player on Sunday, rushing for 56 yards on 14 carries (4.0) and catching a 27-yard pass on his target for a total of 83 offensive yards on a day where the Eagles only ran 54 plays.

However, for the second time in three games, Mathews put the ball on the ground late in the game. Luckily for the Eagles, this time did not affect the outcome as they held a 21-3 lead when Mathews fumbled. However, Doug Pederson admitted on 94WIP that he is concerned.

2. Nelson Agholor

Agholor just isn't producing. On Sunday he had two catches for 10 yards on six targets playing 74-percent of the team's offensive snaps. He now has a putrid 18 catches, 191 yards, and 1 touchdown in six games.

1. Zach Ertz

We expect more from Ertz than one catch for 14 yards. Ertz had just one catch in each of his last two games and has just 11 on the season in four games.

Studs

3. Josh Huff

Huff provided that special team spark with a 98-yard kick return touchdown, something that you need to win these kind of games. He also caught all four of his targets and looks like his finding his role in the offense.

2. Rodney McLeod

McLeod is putting together one fantastic season. After his 13 tackle performance against the Redskins, McLeod added seven more plus a sack and an interception against Sam Bradford.

McLeod had three picks, a sack, and a forced fumble to go along with 43 combined tackles in six games.

1. Brandon Graham

Graham is feasting in this defense, as we expected. On Sunday, Graham had eight pressures, six QB hits, a forced fumble, a tackle for a loss, and a sack. Graham, who has 4.0 sacks and two forced fumbles in six games, is Pro Football Focus' second-highest graded pass-rusher among all NFL edge defenders this season.
