Couple Of Eagles Players Ranked Among 10 Worst In Week 6

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles were outgained by 254 total yards and allowed five sacks in a seven-point loss to the Redskins on Sunday. There is going to be some bad individual performances mixed into that game.

According to Pro Football Focustwo Eagles players were among the 10 worst in the NFL last week.

The first one, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, is the less surprising one. He was ranked as the NFL's fourth-worst Week 6 player. Playing in his first career NFL game, the fifth-round pick allowed five pressures in 29 pass-blocking snaps filling in for the suspended Lane Johnson. Big V allowed two sacks.

The second one is Connor Barwin, who has struggled all season long in Jim Schwartz's 4-3 defensive system. The 30-year-old linebacker has just nine total tackles and 1.0 sack this season.

Barwin was ranked as the league's sixth-worst player of the week by PFF, as he was dominated all day by Redskins left tackle Trent Williams. Barwin totaled just two hurries and two stops in 31 pass rush attempts.

On the flip side, Williams was graded as the fifth-best NFL player of Week 6, allowing just one hurry in 41 pass-blocking snaps.
