Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 6

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Ugly, ugly, ugly.

When you're outgained 493 to 239, you're going to lose the game and there's going to be a lot of duds to choose from. Amazingly, the Eagles only lost by one score thanks to a kick return touchdown and a pick-six.

Duds

3. Fletcher Cox

Cox is a guy you don't expect to see on this list, but he may have had one of his worst game as an Eagle on Sunday. Cox recorded no tackles, no sacks, and a costly roughing the passer penalty that changed a Redskins field-goal into a touchdown.

Still, amazingly, Cox was Pro Football Focus' fifth-highest graded Eagles defensive player.

2. Jason Kelce

Kelce committed two more penalties on Sunday and now has six for the season. He's PFF's lowest rated center in the NFL and continues to be a problem for the Eagles.

An obvious choice here. A fifth-round rookie playing in his first career game against Ryan Kerrigan on the road is certainly not ideal and Big V was welcomed to the league in the worst way. Big V allowed two sacks, a hit, and two hurries in 29 dropbacks.

3. Carson Wentz

The kid continues to impress even under inadequate circumstances. On Sunday, under duress (pressured on 13 of his 27 dropbacks and was sacked five times), Wentz did not turn the ball over again and kept his team in the game. He made an incredible play late in the game with his legs, eyes, then arm, but it was called back due to a highly questionable Wendell Smallwood block in the back.

2. Jordan Matthews

Matthews caught three balls for 75 yards, but continues to be the Eagles' most dangerous pass catcher. He almost came down with a sweet one-handed grab, but couldn't haul it in. He was the Eagles' third-highest offensive graded player, per PFF.

1. Jason Peters

Peters earned a 76.4 grade on PFF, as the Eagles' highest rated offensive player. I was skeptical of Peters staying healthy and performing this season, and although it has been just five games, I've been dead wrong so far. Peters is as rock solid as he's ever been.
