Joel Embiid Records Double-Double In 14 Minutes, Locks Down John Wall

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — If you’re not excited about Joel Embiid at this point, than I don’t know what to tell.

Last night, in the Sixers’ fifth preseason game, Embiid tallied 11 points (2-5 FG, 7-8 FT), 12 rebounds, and 1 block in just 14 minutes of work. The Sixers lost the game against the Wizards 100-79, but Embiid recorded a +/- of plus-1.

And watch Embiid lock down John Wall here, one of the game’s most explosive point-guards.

After the game Brett Brown talked about Embiid’s incredible versatility.

“It’s clear we’re going to have to do a good job, a better job, of getting him the ball,” Brown said.
