Debris On Road Leaves About 2 Dozen Drivers With Flat Tires

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was an expensive morning for about two dozen drivers who struck debris along the Blue Route and I-95.

Something was dropping metal and concrete debris along southbound 476 below Broomall, and south on 95 into Delaware.

The KYW traffic center estimated two dozen cars wound up on the side of the road with flat tires.

Johnny Rodriguez was driving his Honda Accord when he hit a metal bar just across the Delaware state line.

He pulled over with a flat tire.

"Unfortunately, I have to pay for my own tire."

He'd like to see troopers track down whoever is responsible.

"Hopefully, man. Hopefully it would be nice if we would get paid back for the tire."

But state police said they haven't been able to identify the source of the debris.
