Police Investigate After Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Chester County

EAST MARLBOROUGH Twp., Pa. (CBS) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that took place on Thursday night in Chester County.

The accident took place near E. Baltimore Pike and McFarlan Road in East Marlborough Township. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities say a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and died as a result of the collisions. Officials have not identified the victim of the crash.

At this time, it not clear if the vehicle remained on the scene as authorities continue to look into what happened.

E Baltimore Pike was closed between Rt. 82 and McFarlan Road as a result of the accident.
