11 Weeks Until Christmas, Some People Already Finished Shopping
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There are 11 weeks until Christmas and some people have already finished their holiday shopping.
Matt Schulz of Creditcards.com said 34-million people have started holiday shopping, one million are done. And he said many people are traditionalists.
"They like to do the bulk of their shopping in stores, about 60-percent said that. About 21-percent said that they prefer to do it online, on their laptop or desktop computer," he said. "But 11-percent said that they prefer to shop on their mobile device."
Schulz said that's up from seven percent last year. As for all of those who are unaccounted for, Schulz said one in four American shoppers plan to be finished with holiday shopping by November 30th.
