Penn Has Most Attractive Ivy-League Students, Says Tinder

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Well, it seems like some of Philly's brightest college students are some of the most attractive catches on the popular dating app Tinder.

The company decided to do some research into the users of the app to see how people are swiping in relationship to education.

Education is one of the factors you can highlight on Tinder for perspective matches to consider as they try to decide whether to swipe left, or right.

Business Insider decided to find out how the Ivy League schools stacked up against one another on Tinder. When it comes to education, you can't do much better than the Ivy League institutions, right?

But, of all the Ivy League schools, which name seems to lead to the most connections? That prestigious distinction belongs to the kids over at The University of Pennsylvania.

To find out, Tinder looked at which schools in September had the highest percentage of yes swipes, compared to no swipes. The school's population was taken into account.

Penn ranked first on the list, followed by Brown, Columbia, Cornell and Dartmouth to round out the top five.

The rest of the list in order: Princeton, Yale and Harvard.

So the moral of all of this: If you go to Penn and you're on Tinder, you might want to make sure your profile reflects that. It looks like it can only help.
