PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Some believed that the Sixers would rob us of seeing Joel Embiid play in Philadelphia.

Apparently, he’s going to play on Thursday at the Wells Fargo Center against the Washington Wizards.

Embiid, who missed the first two years of his NBA career with foot injuries, made his professional debut on Tuesday night in a preseason game against the Celtics. Embiid scored six points, grabbed four rebounds, and recorded one massive block in about 13 minutes.
