Philly Police Searching For Suspects Who Robbed People Inside Takeout Restaurant

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are looking for four suspects they say held up a takeout restaurant in the Feltonville section of the city, forcing four people inside to the ground and robbing them.

Authorities say three men and a woman were inside El Palacio Restaurant on the 400 block of East Wyoming Avenue last Wednesday around 1:40 a.m. when four men, described as unknown hispanic males, entered the building armed with handguns. The suspects forced everyone to the floor, taking their cell phones and money and then fleeing.

According to officials, one of the victims was struck in the head during the robbery with a suspect’s handgun. He was transported to Einstein Hospital and treated.

Police say the suspects were last seen running south on the 4500 block of Hurley Street.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police at 215-686-8477.
