Tim Tebow Hits Home Run On First Instructional League Pitch
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- No he didn't.
Tim Tebow, who signed a minor-league contract with the New York Mets earlier this month, hit a home run on the first pitch he saw in his Instructional League debut on Wednesday.
According to reports Tebow smoked a 91-MPH fastball over the left-field fence in front of a crowd of about 270 people. The pitcher was reportedly John Kilichowski, an 11th round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals out of Vanderbilt University.
