Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 3
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Every once in awhile, it's really hard to find three duds when writing this column. That means it was a good day for the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is one of those weeks, as the Eagles smoked the Steelers 34-3 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Duds
3. Trey Burton
As good as Burton was in Week 2 vs. the Bears, with Zach Ertz still out Burton caught just two of six targets on Sunday for 19 yards.
2. Connor Barwin
Quiet game for Barwin, who had just one tackle and no QB hits.
1. Jalen Mills
Really tough spot for Mills, a seventh-round rookie making his second career start, lining up against Antonio Brown. According to Pro Football Focus, which ranked Mills as the sixth-worst player of Week 3, the Eagles corner have up seven catches for 89 yards to Brown on eight targets. He also allowed a catch to Sammie Coates and Eli Rogers every time he was targeted, giving up a total of 164 yards.
Positive? Mills led the Eagles with six tackles.
Studs
3. Darren Sproles
That 73-yard touchdown was worth a spot on this list alone. What a play by Carson Wentz to hold the line of scrimmage and buy time to find Sproles, who made the rest look easy. It was the second longest catch of his career and eighth longest reception by an Eagles running back in franchise history.
2. The Defense
I can't pick one guy. I just can't.
Fletcher Cox (5 TKL, 2 sacks, 1 TFL, 2 QB hits), Brandon Graham (sack, TFL, QB hit), Bennie Logan (blocked punt, sack, 1 TFL, 2 QB hits), Rodney McLeod (5 TKL, 2 PD, INT), Jordan Hicks (3 TKL, 2 PD, QB hit), and Malcolm Jenkins (5 TKL, 3 PD) are all worthy of "studs" of the game. I would lean towards Jenkins if I had to pick one because he is the clear leader of the team and was all-over the field on Sunday.
So maybe Jim Schwartz is the answer. Yeah, let's go with Schwartzy.
9.0 points per game allowed (1st in NFL), 274.3 yards per game allowed (4th in NFL), 203.3 pass yards per game allowed (8th in NFL), and 71.0 rushing yards per game allowed (2nd in NFL) through three games.
1. Carson Wentz
23-31, 301 yards, 2 touchdowns, no turnovers. That's 102 pass attempts without an interception to start his career is a new NFL record. Only two rookie QBs have started and won their first three games: Wentz and…Mark Sanchez.
The kid is incredible. Confident, calm, savvy, intelligent, and he's having fun.
