Eagles Hope To Keep Offense Rolling

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The true test awaits Carson and Company on Sunday.

The Eagles are 2-0 after dusting off the Browns and Bears. While both Chicago and Cleveland have some talent on the defensive side of the ball, neither unit will be confused with the 1985 Bears....or even the 2016 Steelers.

On Sunday, the Eagles will line up against a Pittsburgh Defense which has already put together a pair of impressive performances. Eagles tight end Trey Burton knows he and his teammates will have their hands full on Sunday.

"They're really good," said Burton. "They're extremely physical, and they've got some unbelievable outside linebackers and inside linebackers. It's going to be a challenge and it's going to be a physical game."

Another Eagles tight end believes his team must set the tone on offense. Brent Celek says the offensive unit must dictate the tempo and not let the Pittsburgh Defense take control of the game.

"The Steelers do what they do and they do it well," Celek said. "I think it's just going to come down to us executing, understand where we're at and be at the right place at the right time for Carson."

Celek and his offensive teammates have made a smooth transition to Doug Pederson's system. Celek credits his coaching staff for getting the matchups which work to the Eagles' advantage, and Celek and the rest of the tight ends have played a huge part in the team's early success.

"They just put us in position to make plays," said Celek. "Whether it's tight ends, running backs or wide receivers and even with the O-line just trying to get leverage on defenders, we're in the best possible play."

The Eagles will have to make the most of their opportunities on Sunday. One member of the offense looking to make a bigger impact is Wide Receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, who believes the best way to beat a physical defense is with physical play.

"It's all about just being physical," Green-Beckham said. "Playing as an inside receiver, you're going against linebackers. They are guys who are not as fast as receivers are. You just have to try to get up and beat your man."
