Police: No Reports Of Clowns In Our Area
GREENSBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Greensburg, Pennsylvania say despite any rumors, there have been no reports of any clowns in the area.
Police continue, "We can assure everyone we do not have any rogue clowns running around town."
Over the last month, clown sightings have been reported in South Carolina and North Carolina, putting some towns on edge.
Authorities urge resident to refrain from "possibly tying up emergency lines" in reference to the rumors.
