Police Seek Man For Allegedly Sending Flowers To A Woman With Threatening Message

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help. They are investigating alleged threats made against a woman which came in a very odd form.

Officials say that on August 25, a woman received a delivery of flowers while she worked. Her place of employment is located on the 100 block of S. 23rd Street.

When the flowers arrived, the person who was responsible for sending them was unknown. Police say that the woman was not expecting to receive flowers and did not recognize the name she was given with the delivery.

Authorities say the flowers contained a personal message which threatened the woman who received them.

Police released video surveillance of a suspect they believe was responsible for sending the flowers.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his mid 20’s, 5’6″ to 5’8″ with a medium build. They say he was wearing a green and white hat and dark colored t-shirt with a Puma logo on it.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Central Detective Division at 215-686-3048.
