PFF Week 1 Grades: Jason Kelce Bad, Jordan Hicks Good

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — We have good news and bad news.

Two Eagles players popped up on Pro Football Focus’ respective lists of the highest and lowest graded Week 1 players at each position.

The bad news

Jason Kelce was PFF’s lowest graded center of Week 1, receiving a grade of just 37.4. In the passing game, Kelce “was beaten a handful of times” allowing a QB hit and a hurry. On the ground Kelce was “consistently unable to hold his blocks and allowed his man to blow up the play multiple times.”

The good news

Jordan Hicks was PFF’s highest graded linebacker of Week 1, receiving a grade of 87.0. Hicks was thrown at three times and allowed just one two yard catch, according to PFF. He also broke up an incompletion leading to a Rodney McLeod interception and made five solo tackles.

You can see PFF’s highest and lowest graded player at every position.
