Store Adds 'Sensory Check Out' After Mother Of Autistic Child Speaks Out

BROOKHAVEN, Pa. (CBS) -- A local Shop Rite has taken action after the store's director was contacted by the mother of an autistic child.

The Shop Rite is located in Brookhaven, Delaware County.

The store now has a new sensory friendly check out lane.

Kristin Jackowski is circulating a petition asking large retailers to provide a sensory lane, where last minute candy will be replaced with small toys.
