Jury Selection Scheduled In Salvation Army Building Collapse Civil Trial

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The civil trial stemming from the deadly 2013 Center City building collapse begins today.

Six people were killed and 13 were injured when a building under demolition collapsed and crushed a Salvation Army thrift store at 22nd and Market Streets.

Both the demolition contractor and his excavator faced criminal charges.

Today's trial will decide if any individuals or corporate entities are financially liable.
