Report: Eagles Trade Eric Rowe To Patriots

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles have traded cornerback Eric Rowe to the New England Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In return, the Eagles will receive offensive lineman Josh Kline and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2018 according to Jeff McLane.

According to Ian Rapoport, that conditional fourth-round pick could become a third-round pick.

Rowe, 23, was the Eagles' second-round pick (No. 47) in 2015 and has shown the ability to play both corner and safety. Rowe had one interception and five pass defenses as a rookie.

Rowe signed a four-year contract in the Spring of 2015.

Kline, 26, was an undrafted rookie out of Kent State in 2013 and started 18 games over the past three seasons with the Patriots.

According to Schefter, the Eagles are looking to flip Kline.

CSNPhilly's Reuben Frank reports Kline "doesn't really fit" for the Eagles.
