Eagles Fans Feeling Surprised, But Optimistic Following Bradford Trade

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles left shocked many fans this Saturday morning when the team traded starting quarterback Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings for a first round draft pick in 2017, and a conditional 4th round pick in 2018.

While fans seem to unanimously support the trade itself, many are split on who should be the starter now: veteran Chase Daniel or rookie Carson Wentz.

"Chase Daniel to start the season, Carson Wentz to finish," said Dave from West Chester.

Another Birds fan disagrees...

"You know I think maybe I like the rookie. Give the guy a chance, see what he can do. I mean he got picked early on. He's been in the camps, and going from the get go. So I think he probably can handle it."

And most fans seem to think the Eagles made the right move by targeting Minnesota for a trade after the Vikings lost starting QB Teddy Bridgewater for the season earlier this week.

"Sometimes you don't know when you're going to get an opportunity like this. They got it today."

However most fans also agree that the Eagles traded away any chance the team had at competing for a division title this season.
