Amatrice's Signature Pasta Dish Being Served Up At NJ Restaurant To Help Earthquake Victims

HAMMONTON, N.J. (CBS) -- An Italian restaurant in New Jersey is serving up the signature dish of Amatrice, Italy to help with recovery efforts following the devastating earthquake.

Amatrice is known for Spaghetti alla Amatricianato -- a dish consisting of San Marzano tomatoes mixed with an Italian cured meet called Guanciale, sauteed in white wine and finished off with Romano cheese and Italian parsley over pasta.

Annata Wine Bar on Bellevue Avenue is serving up that exact dish and will match $5 for every one sold. That means they'll be donating $10 to Amatrice every time the $13 dish is ordered.

More than 240 people died in the earthquake and dozens of buildings were damaged or destroyed by the 6.2 magnitude quake that hit Amatrice in Central Italy.
