Ex-Nursery School Employee Indicted On Child Porn Charges

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a former nursery school worker has been indicted on child pornography charges.

James Paroline faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

The 27-year-old Red Bank man, who also has worked as a summer camp counselor at a private school in New Jersey, faces charges of receiving and possessing child porn.

Prosecutors say that on two days in March 2015, Paroline downloaded videos and images from a bulletin board and website dedicated to advertising and distributing child porn.

Authorities say they traced the items back to Paroline's residence, where they allegedly found numerous child porn images and videos on computer equipment he owned.

A telephone number for Paroline could not be located Sunday. His attorney has previously declined comment on the case.
