Police initiated an investigation into Lawrence Jamieson Jr. 57, and John C. Brown, 25.

Based on information received in the investigation, police say they obtained a search warrant for Jamieson's residence. Authorities say they recovered about 1,000 DVDs, thumb drives and other electronic storage devices.

Officials say the storage devices had names such as "Asian 4 yo," "ymmiss 7 yo " and "Roxanne 13 yo."

Police discovered the devices contained over 50,000 images and videos. At least 5,000 of the images and videos depicted naked children, sexually explicit images of children, and adults sexually assaulting children, authorities say.

One of the images recovered listed the name of a girl and a local high school.

Police conducted a forensic interview of the juvenile female victim and discovered the full scope of the alleged operations of the defendants.

Authorities say Jamieson introduced the victim to Brown in 2015, when she was 15.

Officials say the defendants told the victim that Brown was a 17-year-old cyber school student. He was actually 23 at the time.

Authorities say Brown changed his appearance to look younger. Brown and Jamieson allegedly agreed to the cover story to lure the victim into a relationship.

Officials say Brown entered into a sexual relationship with the victim, and then they both allegedly did.

Authorities say they took pictures and videos of the sexual activity and exchanged them via text message and email.

Officials say the crimes began in 2015 and continued through July 2016.

Authorities say Jamieson and Brown were both arrested and charges against them include sex trafficking in minors, sexual abuse of children for creating and possessing child pornography, sexual assault, conspiracy, and other related charges.

Both were committed to Chester County Prison after failing to post bail.

"Evil exists even in places we least expect it. We are concerned that there may be other victims out there. Anyone with information either
about Lawrence Jamieson or John Brown should contact the Willistown Township Police Department immediately," says District Attorney Hogan.
