Jeff Fisher Cuts Nick Foles On Hard Knocks
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Just about one year after the Rams acquired Nick Foles in a trade with the Eagles, they released him.
At the beginning of episode one of this year's Hard Knocks series on HBO, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher called Foles to give him the news.

"We're gonna go ahead and release you today, OK?" Fisher said during the first episode which aired on Tuesday night. "You know, I just wanted to call and thank you. Just really appreciate everything you did for us and the commitment that you made and the teammate you were. I'll always be a fan. If anybody has got any questions, I'll certainly answer them truthfully and tell them what a pleasure you were to be around. Best of luck and I hope you land on your feet."
