Phillies Place Aaron Nola On 15-Day DL
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Wednesday, the Phillies announced that pitcher Aaron Nola would be placed on the 15-day disabled list. The team said he is suffering from a right elbow strain.
Nola, 23, is in the middle of his first full season with the Phillies. On the year, he is 6-9 with a 4.78 ERA in 20 starts. He has racked up 121 strikeouts.
