Hillary Clinton Addresses DNC, Young Girls After Historic Nomination

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Hillary Clinton officially became the Democratic nominee for the White House on Tuesday night; a historic moment for U.S. politics. On this night, Clinton addressed the crowd in a video appearance to cap off the evening.

"Hello Philadelphia. I am so happy. It has been a great day and night," Clinton said. She also addressed the historical significance of her nomination.

"I can't believe we just put the biggest crack in that glass ceiling yet."

Clinton also addressed young woman who may be watching.

"If there are any little girls out there, who stayed up late to watch, let me just say, I may become the first woman president, but one of you is next."
