SEPTA Broad Street Line Service Stopped Short Of Wells Fargo Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Monday afternoon, the first day of the Democratic National Convention, SEPTA announced a change to service on the Broad Street Line.

According to SEPTA, service on the line will stop short of the AT&T Station due to "DNC security actions."

Service will temporarily run south as far as the Oregon Station and will not run from AT&T Station.

According to SEPTA officials, the decision to stop service at the Oregon Station was made by the Secret Service. There is no timetable in place for how long the change will be in place and there was no information available on why it was done.
