Pennsylvania Delegates Address State Of GOP At The RNC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Dom Giordano spoke with Pennsylvania delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT to assess the state and mood of the party as Donald Trump prepares to move forward and take on Hillary Clinton for the White House.

Lauren Casper asserted that, in the end, she expects Trump to build a successful outreach program to female voters.

"His family is fantastic. Tiffany Trump's speech was wonderful obviously. I think Mr. Trump has the most women executives of any corporation. I don't know if that's 100 percent accurate, but look, I think women care about national security and I think the women thing, he needs to do better with women and I think he'll get there as we move closer to November."

Calvin Tucker, from Philadelphia, said he doing all he can to get the GOP to focus more on the needs of inner city voters.

"The party is doing everything it can to be inclusive and I appreciate that process. Obviously, we have a ways to go. I have to tell the story better to my colleagues in the African-American community, what our principles and philosophies are and I've talked to a lot of the elected officials, I've talked to a lot to the nominees and surrogates about urban policy. I'm from the city of Philadelphia and I work in the under-served community. I try to get capital and build wealth in the under-served community with small business and entrepreneurs."
