Carson Wentz Jersey Is NFL's 6th Highest Seller

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Only five NFL players have sold more jerseys than Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz over the past three months.

Wentz was the No. 2 overall pick of the Eagles in this year's NFL Draft, but head coach Doug Pederson admitted Wentz will "likely" be inactive during his rookie season.

From April 1st to June 30th, the top six highest selling jerseys are (per Darren Rovell, ESPN.com):

  1. RB Ezekiel Elliott - Cowboys
  2. QB Tom Brady - Patriots
  3. WR Odell Beckham Jr. - Giants
  4. QB Cam Newton - Panthers
  5. TE Rob Gronkowski - Patriots
  6. QB Carson Wentz - Eagles

Interestingly, Elliott -- another rookie -- tops the entire list. Elliott comes into the NFL with a huge fan base, winning a National Championship for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2015 and totaling over 3,600 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns in the last two seasons.

Wentz, on the other hand, played in just seven games as a senior at FCS Divsion 1's North Dakota State.
