Transportation Guidelines For Eagles Training Camp Due To DNC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles begin training camp on Monday, July 25th when rookies, quarterbacks, and selected veterans report.

On Wednesday, July 27th veterans report and then the first full team practice is on Thursday, the 28th.

So what's the big deal? Well, the Democratic National Convention is coming to Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center and it's from Monday, July 25th to Thursday, July 28th.

The Wells Fargo Center, which is not far from the NovaCare Complex where training camp will be held, will have plenty of road closures and street restrictions for those attending training camp practice. Thankfully, the first open practice is not until Sunday, July 31st.

Eagles players, coaches, and media members will only be able to access the complex by automobile driving east on Pattison Avenue, or by foot from Broad Street.

Media members must park their vehicles in the Naval Parking Lot (adjacent to the NovaCare Complex).
