VIDEO: Dario Saric Lands In Philly, Reportedly Set To Sign With Sixers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Reports say that the Sixers are on the verge of signing Croatian product, Dario Saric. The 2014 first round pick has been one of two for the Sixers, that have yet to suit up for the team.

That looks like it is about to change drastically. Joel Embiid and Saric are both slated to join their teammates on the court when the season begins.

This summer has been a speculative one when it comes to Saric. One report says he coming and then another says he is staying.

That was all put to rest on Thursday when his place landed at Philadelphia International Airport and Saric walked out and spoke with the media. Saric arrived shortly after 4:00 p.m. and his 6'10" frame was pretty easy to pick out of the crowd at PHL.

This summer has been a busy one as Saric helped Croatia to a qualifying win for the 2016 Olympics. Before he turns his full attention to the Sixers, he will suit up in Rio.

"After my NBA Draft in 2014, my first time here, I came here with a promise. I promised after two years, I would come here and I'm very happy because I'm here," Saric said. "I will try to make happy this town."
