NJ Mom Hunts For Glasses Of Wine In Pokemon Go Parody

By Chelsea Lacey-Mabe and Cleve Bryan

MOORESTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- If you thought Pokemon Go was just for millennials think again.

Moms are getting in on the action but they're playing a slightly different version of the game -- instead of catching Pokemon, they're catching glasses of wine.

That's the concept of a parody video by stand up comedienne Dena Blizzard, also known as "One Funny Mother." In the Facebook Live video, the New Jersey native uses a smartphone app called "Chardonnay Go" to find glasses of Chardonnay around her neighborhood.

"It's really simple. There's actually a glass really close to my house right now. Let's go find it. Let's Chardonnay Go."

Blizzard, a graduate of Camden Catholic High and Miss New Jersey 1995,  also teased about some of the security issues real Pokemon Go users have faced in signing up for the location tracking app.

"The best thing about this app is that it's free and there are no problems with security because Google wants you to drink."

She managed to find five glasses during the course of the video, beating out another mom for one and entering a stranger's house for another.

"Everything we do with our comedy is always just about finding the humor in the everyday annoyances of motherhood. So Pokemon was annoying, so that was easy, and wine I love and so it started out as something really simple," says Blizzard.

On Tuesday she called a few neighbors to help her make the video where they pretend to find glasses of wine around their neighborhood.

As of Friday the video had more than 16 million views on Facebook. The wine in the video is certainly real, but sorry the app is not.

"They're like 'are you going to make the app?' I'm like I don't even know how to download apps," laughed Blizzard, "I don't know how anybody would think I would make it."
