Police Investigate After Several Teens Shot In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating after multiple people were shot in Southwest Philadelphia on Monday night. Police say it occurred near a basketball league game at 61st and Baltimore Avenue.

Officials say that a triple shooting took place. The incident took place shortly before 10:00 p.m.

Authorities say that a 14-year-old was shot in his arm, a 15-year-old was shot in the face and a 16-year-old was shot in the ankle. All of the victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

Officials announced that the 15-year-old was in critical condition while the other two were listed as stable.

Police are still investigating the cause of the shooting and are asking for anyone with information on this incident to contact them.
