Report: Raptors Interested In Nerlens Noel

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Both Brett Brown and Bryan Colangelo have made it clear that the Sixers are looking to trade a big man.

Apparently you can add the Toronto Raptors to the list of teams trying to acquire one, as ESPN's Zach Lowe reports the Raptors have inquired about Nerlens Noel.

"Toronto has already approached Philly about a deal sending out a rotation player -- perhaps Terrence Ross, and other goodies -- in exchange for Nerlens Noel, according to league sources," Lowe wrote. "The talks haven't gained much traction yet."

Ross, who was mentioned by Lowe in a possible Noel deal, is a 25-year-old wing player and former No. 8 overall pick out of the University of Washington. An attractive thing about Ross is that he signed a three-year contract extension last November worth $31.5 million, so he's under contract through the 2018-19 season.

Ross averages 9.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 23.4 minutes per game in four seasons with the Raptors, while shooting 41.9/37.7/79.5 (FG/3PG/FT).
