Toyota Recalls More Than 1 Million Cars For Defective Air Bags

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Toyota is recalling more than a million cars because of defective air bags.

They are not made by Takata.

1.43 million vehicles worldwide are affected.

Among them are the Prius Hybrid and the Prius Plug-In. The Lexus CT 200h is also included.

Their model years are 2010 to 2012.

The problem is a small crack in some inflators in the air bags may expand, causing the air bags to partially inflate.
