Officials: Bombers Reported At Istanbul Ataturk Airport

ISTANBUL (CBS/CNN) -- Several suicide bombers blew themselves up in the international terminal of Istanbul Ataturk Airport on Tuesday, according to officials.

The official said police fired shots at the suspects who detonated themselves.

According to CBS News, Turkish officials say that the explosions rocked Ataturk Airport, killing at least 36 people and wounding dozens of others.

The White House released a statement, condemning what they are calling a "heinous terrorist attack."

Secretary of State John Kerry also spoke about the attacks in Turkey.
