CBS3 Partners With Pennsylvania SPCA For New 'Pet Project'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- CBS3 Eyewitness News and the Pennsylvania SPCA are partnering together to bring viewers weekly pet stories focusing on pet health, safety and adoptions.

CBS3's Pet Project segment will air every Sunday morning in the 7 a.m. newscast where former CBS3 meteorolgist Carol Erickson, a PSPCA board member, will return to the studio to talk pet care, safety and advocacy. She'll also introduce a new furry friend from the PSPCA each week hoping to find their forever home!

In addition to coordinating adoptions, the PSPCA is committed to investigating animal abuse and neglect. They also provide a low-cost vaccine clinic, spay and neuter services and training classes to pet owners.
