Flyers Have No. 18 Overall Pick In 2016 NHL Draft
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- With the NBA Draft in the books, attention now turns to the NHL Draft which begins tonight in Buffalo.
The NHL Draft is a two-day affair. Tonight is just the first-round with rounds two through seven set for tomorrow.
The Flyers will select 18th in the first round. The Toronto Maple Leafs have the top overall pick.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Dave Isaac of the Courier Post about what direction the Flyers could go in this year's draft.
Overall, the Flyers have ten picks right now. It's possible an eleventh pick, a fourth-round pick, could be coming their way from Arizona as a result of an earlier trade. But if it happens, it likely won't be made official until Saturday.
