Mayor Kenney Responds To Chaka Fattah Conviction
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Mayor Kenney stopped short of saying Congressman Fattah should resign, but did express concern about Fattah's ability to represent his district.
"When the dust settles and, I mean obviously, it happened today, you have to give the person a day or two to collect their thoughts and figure out what they want to do, and I'm not that person, but the district needs a voting member," Mayor Kenney said.

He said he understands the need for a voting representative.
"Obviously the jury has spoken, the criminal justice process went forward. It's my understanding that a congressman who's been convicted cannot vote. I think the district there needs a voting member."
Kenney said there's nothing he can add to the jury's decision.
