Upper Darby Summer Stage Shares Moving Message To Honor Orlando Shooting Victims
DREXEL HILL, Pa. (CBS) -- Messages to honor the lives of the victims in the recent Orlando shooting have taken place all over the country, including a number in our area.
Hundreds of people gathered in Collingswood, N.J., on Tuesday, as the names of all of the victims were read out during a vigil. The Ben Franklin Bridge lit up on Wednesday night, in rainbow colors, to honor the lives that were lost. Several airlines offered free flights to the families of victims and an Orlando Chick-Fil-A opened on the Sunday following the massacre to provide food to people who came out to help.
On Wednesday, the Upper Darby Summer Stage shared a tribute of their own on their Facebook page. The group shared a rendition of "Fill The World With Love."
In the post on Facebook, they wrote, "Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the Orlando shooting. At this time, we hope to share the message to always be brave, strong, and true; fill the world with love your whole life through."
