SEPTA Rail Service Resumes After Report Of Suspicious Package
NORRISTOWN , Pa. (CBS) -- Normal service has resumed on the Manayunk regional rail line and the Norristown high speed line after it was disrupted by a report of a suspicious package near the Norristown Transportation Center.
According to police, a call about an unattended package was called in shortly after 1 p.m. and was located in the Bieber parking garage adjacent to NTC.
SEPTA service was disrupted due to the increased police presence in the area.
The scene was cleared around 3 p.m. and SEPTA service, including bus service to NTC, was restored.
Norristown: Service has resumed at Norristown Trans Cntr. Inbound train #6223 will run service btwn Elm and Norristown. Delays are expected.
