94WIP Hosts Split Over Ben Simmons Vs. Brandon Ingram

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's the number one debate in Philadelphia sports: Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram?

The 6-10, 240-pound athletic specimen who can handle and pass like a point-guard, but shoot like a center. Or the 6-9 long, awkward, reserved smooth-stroking wing player?

From listening to reports, scouts, Brett BrownPhil Martelli, and myself for that matter, Simmons is the front-runner.

But when I asked 10 SportsRadio 94WIP hosts who they would take, they were split right down the middle.

Ingram because I don't want Simmons. I don't want him.

Simmons is going to be a star, Australians rarely disappoint you.

Rhea Hughes (@RheaHughes) - Ingram

Leaning a bit towards Ingram. I think he's more of a complete player. Simmons is talented, but I'm not sure you can build a team around him.

Michael Barkann (@MBarkannCSN) - Simmons

Ingram is a stick figure.

Ike Reese (@Ike58Reese) - Ingram

There are no red flags with Ingram. He's the safe pick.

Josh Innes (@JoshInnesRadio) - Ingram

I think Simmons is a super talented guy, who does not have the work ethic.

Hollis Thomas (@DaRealTank78) - Simmons

Simmons because of the talent. Hopefully, he matures.

Marc Farzetta (@MarcFarzetta) - Ingram

Simmons has way too many Bradford qualities. He's like a mix between Sam Bradford and Evan Turner.

Brian Haddad (@BrianJHaddad) - Simmons

Simmons. A unique talent who has power forward strength with point guard vision. And, if he fails, everyone will rip me, which should be pretty entertaining.

Big Daddy Graham (@BigDaddyGraham) - Simmons

Simmons. He could be a star forever. He could wind up hated. That's Philly.
